By downloading, installing, or using the ShiftFit app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use ShiftFit.
About ShiftFit
ShiftFit is a fitness app designed for shift workers — nurses, paramedics, retail staff, and anyone with an unpredictable schedule. It provides adaptive workout planning and logging tools. ShiftFit is operated by ShiftFit (contact: shiftfit.fitness@gmail.com).
Health and fitness disclaimer
ShiftFit is a fitness tool, not a medical device or healthcare service. Nothing in the app — including exercise plans, workout suggestions, weight recommendations, or any other content — constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation.
You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or health concern. By using ShiftFit, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use ShiftFit. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at shiftfit.fitness@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Free tier and premium subscription
ShiftFit offers a free tier with access to core features including adaptive workout planning, full workout logging, session history, and milestones.
A premium subscription unlocks additional features including detailed exercise progress charts, full session history detail, and enhanced weekly summaries.
Pricing: £7.99 per month or £59.99 per year (prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice).
Free trial
New subscribers may be offered a 14-day free trial of ShiftFit Premium. The trial begins when you start it and ends after 14 days. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your chosen subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the applicable amount.
Only one free trial is available per Apple ID or Google account. If you have previously had a ShiftFit free trial, you may not be eligible for another.
Billing and auto-renewal
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings — not through ShiftFit directly.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until then.
- iOS: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → ShiftFit → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → ShiftFit → Cancel
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your device account settings.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. ShiftFit does not process refunds directly. To request a refund:
- iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Visit the Google Play Help Centre
Price changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before it renews.
Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes all your personal data, training plan, and workout history. This action is irreversible. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel separately through your device account settings.
Acceptable use
You agree to use ShiftFit only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
- Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems
- Use the app for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual property
All content in the ShiftFit app and website — including exercise content, design, branding, copy, and software — is the property of ShiftFit. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any ShiftFit content without our prior written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
ShiftFit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from bugs. We make no guarantees about the fitness outcomes you may achieve from using the app.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShiftFit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to injury, loss of data, or loss of revenue. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of ShiftFit after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
